Midwest in the fall means Fall Fest! We participated in the kiddie costume parade this morning, which is an all time favorite. I mean, I was doing this when I was 8 which is a long, long time ago... Needless to say, our homemade sheep costume won and my little one was ecstatic to win free rides for the day. Who doesn't like winning? Who doesn't like free? I thought for sure she wouldn't win because her little cotton balls kept falling off. But for the cost of three bags of cotton balls, I got to spend mama and me time crafting her costume and then doing the parade with her. At the end of the day, she is happy which makes me happy. Together time is really all that counts to me! Their costume and mine!
Everything midwest, everything mama. I am just keeping it real and trying to make my family and friends laugh in the process!
